If there is one word to describe Creativation 2018, it would be funhaustion! Which means a whole lotta fun mixed in with with inevitable exhaustion that comes from exhibiting at a trade show! Creativation is held in Phoenix, USA, organised by AFCI (Association For Creative Industries) and is the place to be to see new products and current trends for the papercraft, mixed media and art industries. Darkroom Door had a booth there to show our latest releases along with our favourites and best selling products.

The booth was full of inspiring samples from the Darkroom Door Contributing Artist team and each day the demo table was overflowing with ideas and creativity where myself, Susie McGettigan and Teresa Abajo shared lots of ways to use the new stamps and stencils!
Of course we also got up to a bit of mischief on the booth too…
One of the things I love about the show is the chance to catch up with friends. Over the years I have taught alongside many of these wonderful artists or have worked with them in some way. I’ll put a link to their websites under the photos so you can check out their work or products!

And… It’s always fun to get new photos together with Tim Holtz & Dyan Reaveley… even if we are clowning around too much to get a ‘normal’ shot! What’s normal anyway!? 😉
A huge thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us! A big shout out to Teresa for her awesome demo’s and to Susie who was an incredible help throughout the entire show. I certainly couldn’t have done it without you both!!! Here’s a few other photos from the Darkroom Door booth:
You can also watch a tour of the booth on YouTube here and here.
See you again in 2019!
