Hello! This week I travelled to Canberra to teach two workshops at Wrapped In Paper. This is a fabulous store in the Gold Creek area and is packed to the brim with lots of lovely papercraft and mixed media products, along with a great classroom within the store! I’ve been coming here to teach for years now and love it! The ladies in my classes have become great friends, along with Gail and her family who own and run the store.
Here’s a look at what we created in the workshop:
It is a star book, created entirely by cardstock and mixed media papers. The inside was decorated with Distress Oxide inks and Darkroom Door Quote Stamps.
We all had fun creating the backgrounds and stamping inside our books:
Gail always has lots of yummy treats for us during class… who can pass up one of these delicious cupcakes!
Gail also teaches lots of workshops in the store, so be sure to check out their website for details. If you’re in Canberra, I’d highly recommend a visit! You can find their location and contact details here. They have a large stock of Darkroom Door stamps and goodies too:
A big thanks to all of the ladies who joined me in the classes on the weekend, it is always so wonderful to catch up with you and craft together!
If you’d like to join me in one of my workshops, you can see my full schedule here.
